Associate Vice President for Health Sciences – Academic Affairs

The associate vice president for health sciences advises and assists the vice president for health sciences in the administration of academic programs and student support services on the MCV Campus. He also leads all academic planning and initiatives relating to health sciences programs; works closely with the deans on the MCV Campus to coordinate issues related to accreditation for professional, graduate and undergraduate programs; monitors health sciences curricular developments and other academic issues. The associate vice president’s office is responsible for the management of academic and research space on the MCV Campus and serves as liaison with the VCU Health System on matters related to space and facilities. He also represents the vice president for health sciences on related matters throughout VCU.
