Vice President for Health Sciences, CEO of VCU Health System
The vice president for health sciences reports directly to the president of the university and oversees the schools of Allied Health Professions, Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy, as well as Massey Cancer Center. The vice president for health sciences ensures the effective implementation of the missions of education, research and service as they relate to health sciences and the academic clinical enterprise. As CEO, he directs MCV Hospitals, the 779-bed teaching hospital of VCU, and MCV Physicians, the faculty practice plan, which includes approximately 600 faculty physicians.
